Diving and marine · Diver recall with siren
Lubell System 3300
Calls divers back to the boat with loud siren tones, and lets you speak to them through a noise cancelling microphone. Built for permanent installation on dive boats.
Overview
The System 3300 pairs a modified siren amplifier, of the kind used by police and fire services, with a caged Lubell LL916C underwater transducer. Lubell modifies and pots the circuit board and adds rear panel connectors, making the siren just as dependable at sea.
The siren broadcasts recall tones between 800 Hz and 1700 Hz at a guaranteed 180 dB re 1 µPa at 1 m. That gives a nominal recall range of 500 metres in the open ocean. The push to talk microphone overrides any siren for instant announcements, and a radio input rebroadcasts a marine radio under the water.
