Diving and marine · Diver paging and research, Lubell System 3400
AQUASOM® Diver
Page divers, play music or project sound for research, in pools, lakes and the open sea. Runs on 12 V from a dive boat, a battery or a power supply.
Overview
The AQUASOM® Diver is based on the Lubell System 3400, a mobile underwater PA system. It brings clear voice and music to divers, from the pool where students take their first breaths underwater to dive sites in the open sea.
It is also very popular in research. Compact and battery powered, it is an easy way to project sound under the water for experiments in underwater acoustics, from a small boat, a pier or the side of a test tank.
A 60 W 12 V mixer amplifier with a push to talk microphone drives a caged LL916C underwater speaker. Two microphone inputs and an auxiliary input let you add a wireless microphone or a music player. A mounting bracket fits the amplifier to the dashboard of a boat.
