Pool sound systems · Synchronised swimming
CAWSS Stageman
A complete air and water sound system in one battery powered case. It plays above and below the surface, streams from a phone and lets the coach talk over the music.
Overview
The CAWSS (Complete Air and Water Sound System) was built for synchronised swimming, and it serves lap swimmers, snorkelers and divers just as well. One portable unit drives an air speaker for the pool deck and a Lubell underwater speaker for the swimmers, each with its own volume control.
Music comes from a phone or tablet over Bluetooth, or from the built in USB and SD player, which can also record. The handheld UHF wireless microphone lets the coach page the audience or talk to swimmers in the water. Because the system runs on its internal battery, it can be set up anywhere around the pool with no cables to the mains.
