Overview
The LL9162 is a high power, full range pistonic piezoelectric transducer made by Lubell Labs. It is intended for scientific and military uses, including harbour defence, and it also works as an underwater loudspeaker or a hydrophone.
Its rugged PVC and stainless steel construction withstands extreme conditions. The cable plugs into an underwater pluggable bulkhead connector, so the operator can replace it in the field.

Safety
An external series resistor and fuse must be used, as set out in the manual. The sound level near the LL9162 can harm human hearing.
